Mejores cuentas de ahorro cripto en 2026 (Comparado)
A side-by-side comparison of six crypto savings accounts. We review APY, lock-up terms, fees, custody and withdrawal speed so you can pick the right place to earn interest on your crypto.
¿Qué es una cuenta de ahorros cripto?
A crypto savings account lets you deposit digital assets and earn interest over time, much like a bank savings account. The APY paid on stablecoins such as USDC is usually well above bank rates: the US national average savings rate was 0.37% as of September 2026, per the FDIC (see Sources), while stablecoin lending rates vary with borrowing demand and are published live on DefiLlama.
The difference comes from how your deposit is used. A bank lends your money to mortgage borrowers and businesses and keeps most of the interest. A crypto savings platform deploys your funds into DeFi lending markets, liquidity pools or institutional lending, and passes a larger share of the yield to you.
There are two main types. CeFi (centralized finance) platforms such as Nexo and Coinbase manage your funds on your behalf. DeFi-based platforms such as Coinstancy allocate deposits to on-chain protocols. Your USDC first enters a secure multisignature wallet operated by Coinstancy before being deployed into the selected on-chain strategies. Some users also lend directly through protocols such as Morpho or Aave, which requires a wallet, gas fees and self-custody.
Mayores rendimientos
Stablecoin lending rates are set by borrowing demand and usually sit well above the FDIC national average savings rate (0.37% as of September 2026).
Capitalización diaria
El interés se capitaliza diariamente en la mayoría de las plataformas, lo que significa que usted gana interés sobre su interés cada 24 horas.
Transparencia en cadena
DeFi protocols publish their markets, rates and reserves on-chain, so the source of the yield can be checked rather than trusted.
Mejores cuentas de ahorro cripto en 2026
We compare six options on APY, security, fees, withdrawal terms and transparency, starting with our own platform, Coinstancy. Third-party rates change often: we describe how each platform sets its rate and point you to the live figure rather than quoting a number that will be stale next month.
Coinstancy
7.50% APY en USDC. Los intereses se acumulan cada segundo. Sin bloqueo
Coinstancy is a DeFi-based savings platform. Its Dollar Savings pays 7.50% APY on USDC. Interest accrues every second and is automatically reinvested. There is no lock-up period, and you can withdraw anytime. The APY shown is the fixed rate currently in force. It may be revised as market conditions evolve; a new rate applies to existing balances as well as new deposits. Your USDC first enters a secure multisignature wallet operated by Coinstancy before being deployed into the selected on-chain strategies. Coinstancy charges no fee on Savings deposits, yield or Savings withdrawals. Fees specific to other rails (bank transfer, card, crypto withdrawal from the platform) still apply.
The appeal is simplicity. You do not manage a wallet, choose lending pools or pay gas fees. Coinstancy handles the DeFi side behind a plain interface, which suits first-time savers. Selected protocol exposures may benefit from additional coverage arranged through OpenCover, subject to the applicable policy terms, conditions, and coverage limits.
Nexo
Tiered rates on stablecoins. CeFi. Higher rates need a fixed term
Nexo is a CeFi lending platform that has operated since 2018. It supports many assets, including BTC, ETH and the stablecoins USDC, USDT and DAI. Its Earn rate depends on two things: your loyalty tier, which is set by how much NEXO token you hold, and whether you pick a flexible or a fixed-term deposit. The live rate grid is on nexo.com (see Sources).
Nexo publishes its own statements on custody, licences and asset protection; read them at the source, because they are the platform's claims, not independent guarantees. The main drawback is the loyalty system: reaching the top rate means holding a meaningful amount of NEXO, which adds price risk on that token. As with any CeFi platform, you rely on Nexo to manage your funds responsibly.
Coinbase Earn (Recompensas USDC)
USDC rewards at a rate set by Coinbase. CeFi. No lock-up
Coinbase pays USDC rewards to eligible users who hold USDC in their Coinbase account. Coinbase sets the rate itself and can change it at any time; the current figure and the eligible countries are on coinbase.com/usdc (see Sources). There is no lock-up and no minimum, and rewards are switched on for eligible accounts.
The advantage is convenience: if you already use Coinbase, you earn by simply holding USDC. Coinbase is publicly traded (NASDAQ: COIN) and regulated in the United States. Note that US dollar balances may qualify for pass-through FDIC insurance, but USDC itself is a crypto asset and is not FDIC-insured (see the FDIC page in Sources). Because the rate is a marketing decision rather than a market rate, compare it with DeFi lending rates before relying on it.
Binance Earn
Variable rates on stablecoins. CeFi. Flexible and locked options
Binance Earn is the yield product suite of the Binance exchange. It includes Simple Earn (flexible and locked terms), Dual Investment and structured products. For stablecoin savers, flexible Simple Earn rates move with market demand, and locked terms usually pay more. The live rates are shown in the Binance app and on binance.com.
Binance is one of the largest exchanges by trading volume, but it has faced regulatory action in several countries, and Binance.com does not serve US residents, who are directed to the separate Binance.US. Yields change often, promotional rates are usually time-limited, and the product range is wide enough to confuse a beginner.
Aave (DeFi Directo)
Variable supply rate on stablecoins. DeFi. No lock-up. Self-custody
Aave is one of the largest decentralized lending protocols by total value locked, deployed on Ethereum and several other networks (the live TVL is on DefiLlama). You supply USDC, USDT or DAI directly and earn a variable rate that rises when more of the pool is borrowed and falls when demand drops. The current USDC supply APY per network is on the Aave app and on DefiLlama (see Sources).
The advantage is self-custody: your funds sit in a smart contract you interact with directly, with no intermediary. The drawback is complexity: you need a Web3 wallet, ETH for gas fees and some familiarity with DeFi interfaces. Rates are variable and can fall sharply when borrowing demand is low.
Morpho (DeFi Directo)
Variable rate per vault. DeFi. No lock-up. Self-custody
Morpho is a lending protocol built on isolated markets, each with one collateral asset, one loan asset and fixed risk parameters. Curated vaults, run by third-party risk managers, spread deposits across these markets. The vault curator, not the protocol, decides which markets your USDC is lent to (see the Morpho documentation in Sources).
A vault's rate depends on the markets its curator selects and on how heavily they are borrowed, so rates differ from one vault to the next; the live figures are on the Morpho app and DefiLlama. The trade-off is that each vault carries the risk profile of its curator's choices. Like Aave, using Morpho directly requires a Web3 wallet and DeFi experience. Morpho Blue is one of the strategies listed for Coinstancy Dollar Savings on its product page.

Cómo elegir la mejor cuenta de ahorros crypto
No todas las cuentas de ahorros crypto son adecuadas para cada usuario. Aquí están los seis factores que más importan al elegir dónde colocar tus fondos.
APY (Rendimiento Porcentual Anual)
The headline number, but not the only one that matters. Compare net APY after fees and check whether the rate is fixed or variable. A rate you keep for the year is worth more than a promotional rate that drops after 30 days.
Seguridad y auditorías
For CeFi, check whether the platform publishes proof of reserves, holds regulatory licences and states clearly what protection, if any, applies to your deposit. For DeFi, look for audited smart contracts, on-chain strategies you can inspect and a track record without exploits.
Términos de retiro
Can you access your funds quickly, or is there a waiting period? Some platforms pay more for locked deposits but penalise early withdrawals. For most savers, no lock-up and a short settlement time matter more than a slightly higher rate.
Comisiones
Ahorro Cripto vs Banco Tradicional
How much more can you earn with a crypto savings account than with a bank? The table below projects the growth of a $10,000 deposit at different APYs over 1, 3 and 5 years with compounding already included in each APY. The bank row uses the FDIC national average savings rate (0.37% as of September 2026, see Sources); the high-yield row is illustrative.
| Tipo de Cuenta | APY | Después de 1 año | Después de 3 años | Después de 5 años |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| US bank savings (FDIC national average) | 0.37% | $10,037 | $10,111 | $10,186 |
| High-yield savings account (illustrative) | 4.0% | $10,400 | $11,249 | $12,167 |
| Coinstancy Dollar Savings (USDC) | 7.50% | $10,750 | $12,423 | $14,356 |
Every row applies deposit × (1 + APY)^years, with no withdrawals and the stated rate unchanged for the whole period, which is not guaranteed for any of them. The Coinstancy row uses the current Dollar Savings fixed APY, which already includes automatic reinvestment; it may be revised. Illustrative only, not a promise of future returns.
Riesgos a considerar
Las cuentas de ahorro cripto ofrecen rendimientos más altos que los bancos, pero también conllevan riesgos que debes comprender antes de depositar. Aquí están las cuatro categorías principales de riesgo.
Riesgo de plataforma (CeFi)
When you deposit into a CeFi platform, you trust the company to manage your funds responsibly. If it becomes insolvent, gets hacked or mismanages risk, your deposit may be lost. Celsius, BlockFi and Voyager all froze withdrawals and filed for bankruptcy in 2022, leaving customers with large losses. Check proof of reserves, regulatory status and the exact protection offered before choosing a CeFi platform.
Riesgo de contratos inteligentes (DeFi)
DeFi savings platforms deploy your funds into smart contracts. If a contract has a vulnerability, an attacker could drain funds. The risk is lower, not zero, with protocols that have long audit histories, bug bounty programmes and years without an exploit, such as Aave and Morpho. Coinstancy Dollar Savings lists Aave v3, Compound v3 and Morpho Blue as its strategies, which spreads this risk across several audited protocols but does not remove it.
Riesgo Regulatorio
Rules for crypto savings products are still evolving. In February 2022 the SEC charged BlockFi over its lending product, and BlockFi agreed to pay $100 million in penalties (see Sources). Future rules could change rates, restrict availability in your country or force platforms to restructure their products. Prefer platforms that engage with regulators and say clearly which framework they operate under.
Riesgo de Depeg de Stablecoin
Stablecoins are designed to hold a 1:1 peg with the US dollar, but they can deviate. In March 2023, USDC briefly traded near $0.87 after Silicon Valley Bank, which held part of Circle's reserves, collapsed. USDC returned to its peg within days, but a depeg can cause a temporary loss if you sell during it. Circle states that USDC reserves are held in cash and short-dated US Treasuries and publishes monthly attestations by an independent accounting firm (see Circle transparency in Sources).
